Drive-by Birthday_Sept

In the days of COVID folks have to be creative of how to celebrate a milestone birthday for a lifelong Davidson resident.

Davidson Police Detective Jay Stokes escorted Bernice out to her seat of honor as the cars arrived for the drive-by birthday party.
Bernice was crowned queen for the day. Most of us know that she is the queen every day.

As cars passed by, Queen Bernice waved and talked to everyone. Cars backed up along Park and then onto Jetton, but everyone said it was more than worth the wait.
