As volunteers coordinated their efforts, hundreds of backpacks were set up to be handed out to local families. The Back2School Backkpack event has been an annual event at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Davidson. With the help of several local churches, volunteers prepared more then 615 backpacks this year.
