Davidson Police Officers showed off the departments newest vehicle, an offroad 4x4 that gives them greater access to our parks and greenways.

The Justice League bounce house was a big hit.

It looks like some got a little bit of an unfair advantage, but on a day like today getting dunked was a welcome occurance.

Super hero masks, lollipops, and neat t-shirts all add up to fun at the Back 2 School event at Gethsemane Baptist Church.

This was another event in Davidson where face painting was a big hit with the kids.

Some of hte volunteers braved the additional heat of working in front of the grill to ensure all the kids and their families had a great meal.

Cutest moment of the morning was when the little boy on the right picked up the ball and walked over to hand it to the boy on the left.

Bingo was just one of the many options available for family fun.

This complicated design took a while, but it was well worth the wait.

The artist and the face "paintee" were all smiles.
