Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Bryan Hall talked to the volunteers about his service and about efforts to recognize Davidson’s veterans.

Former Mayor John Woods showed the volunteers the grave of his father - Dr. James Woods, who served in WWII, and that of his brother James “Jimmy” Woods who was killed in Vietnam.

One of the Hough JROTC cadets helped organize the teams of volunteers to place the flags at veterans’ graves.
